Toddler Room Teacher
Darcy, husband, Doug and two children are SCPENS Alumni. Darcy has worked as an early interventionist for 15 plus years, serving families in our community with children from birth to three. She enjoys observing and working with children and parents/adults as they learn from one another and develop new skills. She feels the SCPENS classrooms are where all are welcome, where the "work"of children is play and that the process is more important than the product.
Rachael Cash -
Preschool Room Teacher
Rachael has her BA in Psychology and a minor in Education from UCSC. Following the birth of her three children she enjoyed leading a Moms Club organization that planned activities, speakers and provided a community for stay at home moms. From 2013-2015 she ran a Garden Club for elementary age children. In 2016 realizing her desire to work with preschoolers she completed the Cabrillo ECE Teaching program. Rachael loves working with young children and is excited to partner with families to create a supportive, stimulating learning environment. On a personal note she loves spending time at the beach with her family, creating art and working in the garden. She is thrilled to be a part of the SCPENS community!
